UDHAMPUR: An army Jawan and a villager were killed on Jammu – Srinagar Highway when the motorcycle they were riding, was hit by an unknown vehicle near Brihman Bridge, Udhampur.
According to report the army Jawan identified as Pritam Singh son of Shankar Singh resident of Bali and a villager namely Kewal Singh son of Hardev Singh resident of Mongri who were riding motorcycle JK02X-9858 were killed on the spot when they were hit by an unknown vehicle late last night.
The victims were shifted to Military Hospital Udhampur where the doctors declared them as brought dead. Bodies of these victims were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where the same were handed over by the police to their family members after completing the legal formalities. Police have registered the case for investigation.
