Sham Lal honours Councilor Narottam for moving resolution in JMC meeting

JAMMU: Former Minister, Sham Lal Sharma on Friday felicitating Jammu Municipal Corporation Councilor Ward No 3, Narottam Sharma for passing a resolution in the general house meeting of JMC with the cooperation of all councilors that Jammu Residency Road should be named as Pandit Uttam Chand Shastri Pathak Ji Marg.
A felicitation ceremony was organized on behalf of Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sanathan Trust .
Former Minister, Sham Lal Sharma, the chief guest, said that it is a great thing that for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir a road has been named after a Sanskrit scholar.
With such efforts, the morale of Sanskrit servants will increase and with such efforts it is possible to re-establish the extinct Sanskrit religion-philosophy in the UT, he added.
Lalit Khajuria, Rakesh Gandotra, Yash Seth, Sukhjeet Singh, Sanjeev Lambha, Sanjeev Khajuria, Tarsem Gupta and Rakesh Singh were also present on the occasion.
