Jammu West residents protest against CAPD Director

JAMMU: A large number of residents from Jammu west including women and children on Monday held a protest against Director CAPD for not supplying Kerosene oil, Atta and rice on the ration depots for the last three months. The protest was organised under the leadership of Sunil Dimple President Jammu West Assembly Movement.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple said that no kerosene oil, sugar, Atta and rice is available in the ration depots for the last three months and the same is being sold in black market. He demanded proper implementation of the National Food Security Bill (NFSB) in the State. He demanded that the Director CAPD Jammu G.S Chib should check black marketing of ration by his employees.
Meanwhile, Dimple warned the CAPD Director to restore the supply of kerosene oil, Atta and ration within 24 hours in the ration depots of Jammu city, lest be ready to face the ire of the public.
Dimple also appealed to J and K Police to keep close vigil on black marketing of government rations by CAPD employees.
The prominent among others who joined the protest were Rajinder Sharma, Kanta Devi, Polie Rani, Seema, Koushalya Devi, Tripta, Sunita Devi, Baby, Poonam Rani Sham Saroop, Harbans Tondan, Vinod Suri, Som Nath Sharma and Randhier Singh Bali.
