Jammu West facing gruesome 17-hour power cuts MLA leaves constituency unattended; FB users troll Sat

JAMMU: As temperature touching nearly 45 degree Celsius in Jammu city, the residents of Jammu West Assembly are suffering due to 15 to 17 hours long power cuts adding misery to their day to day life. After protests and castigation, Facebook users trolled MLA Sat Sharma by tagging him to attend people’s grievances which were left unattended by him.
With increase in temperature, 15 to 17 hours long power cuts in Jammu West Constituency during day time and even in night are subjecting people to seethe and the credit of this goes to MLA from this Jammu West Constituency, Sat Sharma who is also the President of BJP State Unit as he has left the constituency on the mercy of God.
Irked over prolonged power cuts, people of the constituency trolled MLA Sat Sharma on Facebook by tagging him with the posts over power outage but MLA remained reluctant with no change in unprecedented power cuts which are marring the life and peace of people in the power crisis zone viz. Jammu West Constituency.
One of the posts from a youth from this constituency tagging MLA Sat Sharma stated “Sir kindly do something about unscheduled and prolonged power cuts. Sun torches in the day and electricity cuts in the night. It’s 10 PM and I have one kid on my shoulder and other is holding my hand and we are enjoying moonlight just bcoz of electricity cuts. Uninterrupted power supply should be the 1st achievement of modern developed Jammu West other than lanes and drains”.
A person walking in the street during late night in absence of power supply said “MLA Sat Sharma being the State President of BJP fail to come upto expectations of its constituency people, is that ache Din which were promised by BJP during its election campaigns?”
Another post stated “India beat Pakistan and electricity beats Jammu West”.
As people are on roads in protest against power cuts and against false promises made by MLA Sat Sharma during election campaign, the MLA is enjoying cool weather in Valley leaving Jammu West people unattended. Many a time, people tried to approach the MLA but couldn’t succeeded due to his absence.
On late Monday night also people in large number including women and children came on road, blocked High Court Road by staging protest against MLA Sat
Sharma and PDD for their failure to provide adequate power supply but unfortunately the MLA didn’t bother to budge and the situation of power supply remained unaltered.
The people of this area castigated MLA by saying that from the day he was elected as MLA, he never met people nor he arranged any public grievances camp.
Not even this, the Constituency is also suffering from dilapidated road conditions as maximum roads of this constituency are under dismal condition due to digging by the several agencies on account of development works for the last two years, forcing people to face snarling traffic changing their adrenal levels alarmingly.
