New Year T20 Cricket League

JAMMU: Jammu Vishals XI registered win against Narayana Life Saviors XI by 15 runs and entered in the next round of the ongoing New Year T20 Cricket League which is being conducted at KC Sports Ground Jammu.
The league is being jointly organized by Veterans Cricket J&K and KC Sports Club Jammu, supported by J&K Police.
Batting first, Jammu Vishals XI scored 124 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 16 overs. Rakesh Koul was the top scorer with 28 runs while Rohan Gill and RK Bhat contributed 19 and 13 runs to the total respectively. For Narayana Life Saviors XI, Shagun and Verinder took two wickets each while Prince and Sunil grabbed one wicket each.
In reply, Naryana Eleven managed to score only 109 runs for the loss of ten wickets thus lost the match 15 runs. Amit with (22), Shanta (11) and Vijay (10) runs were the main scorers.
For Jammu Vishals XI, Ashish Singh claimed three wickets, Shamsher Singh took two and RK Bhat got one wicket. Ashish Singh was declared Man of the Match.
