RAJPURA: University of Jammu (JU) on Monday registered their second consecutive win to enter third round of the ongoing North Zone Inter University (men’s) Basketball Tournament at the Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutions under the aegis of Punjab Technical University at Banur in Rajpura, Punjab.
As per the reports reaching here, JU cagers shot into early lead with Rohan scoring two three pointers in the first two minutes.
Shubham Sharma, controlled the offensive and defensive boards and JU finished the first quarter at 24-08. The opponents recovered in the second quarter and JU went into the half time at 34-20.
Pointman, Amanjot Singh made some sensational drive in the third quarter to extend the lead of the team further, scoring adding points in the game. In the final quarter, Jaskirat and Gurvinder also clicked well and scored 11 and nine points respectively. The JU finished the match at 77-44 and entered third round.
