JAMMU: Jammu District Senior Volleyball (Men) team is leaving tomorrow for competing in the 35th J&K UT Senior Volleyball Championship for men scheduled to be held at Maidan chougal Handwara District Kupwara from 28th Sept to 30th Sept. 2023 being organized by Volleyball Association of J&K under the aegis of J&K Sports Council.
The team is accompained by Naresh Kumar as coach of the team. Team members are: Najar Singh (Capt), Mannat Choudhary, Vipan Kumar, Parvinder Singh, Abhishek Sharma, Aman Choudhary, NitinChib, Ankit Chandail, Surya Partap Singh and Dheeraj Sikka (Libro). Prior to proceeding for Championship, team underwent ten days long intensive coaching camp at M.A Stadium Jammu under the supervision of Rajeev Dogra Senior Volleyball Coach (SAI), and Naresh Kumar Volleyball Coach. SAI Training Centre M.A Stadium Jammu provided foil support during the coaching camp.
On the occasion, S. Manmeet Singh Amn President and S. Hardip Singh Gill Secretary of Jammu District Volleyball Association distributed sports kits to the players / official and also provided transport facility for the transportation of team upto the Venue of the Championship.
