Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) is currently implementing mega projects across the Temple City to improve civic amentias, improve and upgrad roads, create various utility services, beautify designated spots with recreational facilities for children and much more. While there are words of praises for the agency, there are several questions being asked as well. Here is how the people react to execution of various projects:

The works initiated under Smart City Project are being carried out in a very great manner. Earlier, the condition of the Jammu city was very bad but now development works are being taken up everywhere. But unfortunately, some construction works like tiling of streets and lanes are getting delayed in some areas. There are many such initiatives, which are giving lot of benefits, like smart buses, electrification of streets, parks etc. I think if the pace of work on various projects is expedited, Jammu will be benefited more within stipulated time-frame.

Firstly, I would like to appreciate the launch of air-conditioned smart buses in Jammu. The Tawi River Front is a good initiative. Ongoing projects related to tourists’ attraction in Jammu should be completed soon because it will boost more tourism. The works being undertaken in Jammu are excellent and I totally appreciate Jammu Smart City project. It is really a game changer for Jammu and its residents as well.

Since 2014, there is a sea change in Jammu. Development is being carried out everywhere. Even the concrete roads are being laid across the City and old ones are being repaired or upgraded. By and large, I appreciate the initiative and also I would like to thank our Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for taking keen interest to uplift Jammu as a tourist destination.

The works initiated under Smart City Project are appreciable. Common people are getting facilities like drinking water, power supply and Pacca roads and streets. I must appreciate the administration for working more on Jammu City’s beautification. Light show at Bagh-e-Bahu is really enthralling the visitors. I hope that the government will identify more spots in Jammu and develop them.

Lots of construction works are being done under Jammu Smart City project. I would like to mention few projects which I personally appreciate. The beautification of local parks, crossings and Tawi Lake project are a few to mention. Our Raghunath Bazaar is being beautified. Smart buses have given major relief to the commuters. The government should take suggestions from the locals before carrying out any construction of lanes and drains.
