JAMMU: Organised by the District Rifle Association in collaboration with J&K Police, the 10th Jammu District Shooting Championship concluded on Saturday at Shooting Range, Gulshan Ground, here.
In total, 50 young shooters turned up for the competition in twin events of .177 Air Rifle and .177 Air Pistol in both boys and girls sections.
In the prize distribution function of this two-day event, President J&K Rifle Association, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal; General Secretary, Amjad Parvez Mirza (Retd. IPS); Treasurer, S.S Sodhi and Vice President (Administration), Sharat Chander Singh jointly presented the medals to those winners.
Speaking to the medal winners and other gathering, Kuldeep Singh complimented them and wished them for the upcoming J&K Shooting Championship to be held in the month of February.
He also expressed his thanks to ADGP (Armed), AK Choudhary for extending help in infrastructure and technical individuals for smooth and successful conduct of the event.
The technical panel in this event led by Rajesh Virdhi and comprised Madhupal Singh and Vijay Kumar.
