JAMMU: Neeraj Gupta Zonal President Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) on Thursday condemned the negative attitude of the BJP MLAs and MP’s towards the people of Jammu.
Speaking to media persons here, Gupta said that BJP representatives had put the future of Jammu at the mercy of Kashmiri Rulers. “They had made only hollow promises and cheated the people of Jammu by surrendering to valley centric leadership”, he added.
He alleged that heaps of garbage on roads is exposing the hollowness of Mission Swachh Bharat being run under JMC and BJP led Union Government. “The dilapidated roads especially at Sarwal Chowk, Tali Morh, Janipur, Patoli and Talab Tillo speak volumes on the lethargy of BJP leadership which drastically failed to encash the opportunity to develop Jammu”, he said.
Highlighting the lackadaisical attitude of JMC and Jammu West MLA Sat Sharma, the NPP leader said that unfinished projects and pending macadamisation of roads have virtually made Jammu West Constituency a chaotic destination.
Giving one month’s ultimatum to JMC, NBCC and ERA for completing the stalled projects, he said that in case these agencies fail to accomplish these projects in time, the NPP will launch an agitation.
