JAMMU: On account of flushing of Salal Power House reservoir, the power supply to various parts of Jammu province shall remain affected from Sunday morning.
According to Chief Engineer, Electric Maintenance and RE Wing, Jammu, NHPC Salal is availing shutdown on 14th June, 2015 from 8:00 AM for 24 hours for silt clearance. Shortage of power in Jammu province shall be to the extent of 50-100 MW. As such rotational curtailment wherever required shall be enforced.
