JAMMU: Mumbai based small screen artist Vishal Kotian visited Jammu to participate in Big Jammu Run on Sunday.
While interacting with STATE TIMES, he said that excitement and zest exhibited by the people of Jammu regarding this event was exemplary and inspiring. “If streamlined and tapped in a right perspective, such electrifying gusto among the people of city can really make a difference”, he added.
Overwhelmed with the grandeur and picturesque beauty of Jammu, Vishal said that the City of Temples has its own unique charm and the mood of people here is full of thrill and excitement. “On the contrary, the high rising buildings of Mumbai block one’s vision and the monotonous life adds to more miseries in one’s life”, he maintained. However, expressing surprise over sultry climatic conditions of Jammu, Vishal remarked that people outside Jammu believe that Jammu is a cold destination but the situation here is in contrast to their belief.
“Vishal, an MBA (Finance) degree holder took a U-Turn in life when he opted to become a model leaving behind a promising career in the business world”, he disclosed. He also informed that he is presently doing the role of ‘Birbal’ in the TV serial ‘Jodha Akbar’ and said that he hardly gets a free day except Sundays. “On every available opportunity, I try to visit abroad and so far I had visited 42 countries”, he added.
On asking if he would like to leave a message for Jammu people, he said, “The participation in the Big Jammu Run this time was around 7,000 against my expectation of three to four thousand and I want that it should exceed 10,000, next time”.
