Jammu District Volleyball Association felicitates victorious Jammu District volleyball team

Jammu: The Jammu District Volleyball Association celebrated the outstanding achievement of the Jammu district volleyball team, winners of the 35th JK UT Senior Volleyball Championship for men organised by volleyball association of JK under the aegis of JK sports Council. The team emerged victorious after defeating the formidable JK Police team in the finals, held at Maidan Chogul, Handwara (District Kupwara) from September 28th to 30th, 2023.
In a grand function held at Ranjit College of Education, Bandhurakh Jammu, the coaches and team members were honoured for their exceptional performance. Rajeev Dogra, Senior SAI Coach, Naresh Kumar, Team Coach, and Parteek Kumar, SAI Coach, were presented shawls as a token of appreciation for their dedicated coaching efforts both before and during the championship. Dr. Manmeet Singh Amn, President, and S. Hardip Singh Gill, Secretary of Jammu District Volleyball Association, extended their gratitude to the coaches for their intensive training, which played a pivotal role in the team’s success. As a gesture of recognition, Dr. Manmeet Singh Amn, President of Jammu District Volleyball Association, awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000 to the talented team members.
In his address, Dr. Amn commended the coaches and team members for their remarkable achievement and urged them to continue their dedication and sportsmanship in future endeavors. He emphasized the importance of this victory as a stepping stone for future successes and encouraged the players to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship in all their endeavors. S.
