Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha elections;Court keeps in abeyance election result of Romesh as President

JAMMU: The Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (regd) elections has taken a new turn on Saturday when the City Judge Jammu M.S Manhas kept in abeyance the election result declared on 12.7.2016 declaring Romesh Gupta as President of the Sabha.
This order was passed by City Judge M S Manhas in a Suit filed by Ajay Gupta, Vinod Gupta (present President) and Ashok Gupta through Aseem Sawhney Advocate with Anuj Dewan Raina and Neeraj Singh Advocates.
The plaintiffs had
filed this Suit against Om Parkash Gupta (Election Commissioner) and Romesh Chander Gupta.
Court passed this 11 page Order after hearing marathon arguments of Aseem Sawhney with Anuj Dewan Raina counsels for the plaintiffs and Anil Mahajan,Kulbushan Sajgotra and R C Sharma for the defendants and observed that the plaintiffs have made out a prima facie case for adjudication by the Court and have been successful to cast shadow of doubts on process of elections held by the defendants.
“Therefore in view of the compelling circumstances of the case, the Court is constrained to keep in abeyance the result declared on 12.7.2016 at 11.30 AM, till the disposal of main suit.
However, parties are at liberty, if they wish to conduct fresh elections. ” the Court held.
