POONCH: District Jammu boys clinched twin titles of Volleyball and Hockey in the inter-district Divisional level competitions of under-17 age group held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), here on Wednesday.
In the Volleyball final, Jammu trounced Kathua in straight 3-0 sets. Similarly, in Hockey, Jammu outplayed district Kathua 3-0. In the finals and closing function, Parvinder Singh, Joint Director IT was the Chief Guest, who presented title trophies to the winner teams. He applauded the efforts of DYSS Poonch for organising such a mega event at Poonch. In total, 10 teams took part in Volleyball and four in Hockey.
