JAMMU: Organised by the Archery Association of Jammu and Kashmir, two-day Jammu District Championship got underway at J&K Police Sports Complex, Gulshan Grounds, here today.
The event was declared open by senior vice president of the Archery Association of J&K, Sunil Sharm amidst interaction with the participants and the technical officials.
Also present were Sharat Chander, Darshna Kumari, Simmi Sharma, Aman Sangral and Meenu Choudhary. Vikas Gupta is organizing secretary of the Championship.
The Results:
Sub-Junior Boys: Indian Round: 30 meters: Nitish Bawa, Ist; Dhron Dev, 2nd and Pranav Kumar, 3rd.
Senior: Men: 50 meters: Bhawani Jasrotia, Ist; Sahil Magotra, 2nd and Gourav Bandral, 3rd. Women: Mehnaz Kouser, Ist; Usha Devi, 2nd and Rita Devi, 3rd.
