Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress to launch 2-day protest march from tomorrow
Jammu:- Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress will launch a two-day ‘Yuva Sankalap Yatra’ beginning tomorrow from here to Srinagar to protest against the state government’s alleged failure in addressing the youth-related issues.
“PYC activists are going to launch Yuva Sankalap Yatra tomorrow to protest against the PDP-BJP government’s failure in addressing the youth-related issues, including implementation of recent contractual recruitment policy in J-K,” JKPYC president Pranav Shagotra said here.
“We are against the contractual recruitment policy in J-K.
We will not allow it to be implemented by the BJP-PDP government in the state,” he said.
Youth Congress activists shall start rally from Jambu Lochan Hall in Jammu and will proceed to Kashmir via Nagrota, Domail, Udhampur, Chenani and Patnitop, he said.
The rally shall halt for the night at Patnitop and will continue journey towards Srinagar via Batote, Ramban, Banihal, Anantnag, Bijbhera and finally will reach to Lal Chowk in Srinagar on the evening of May 14, he added.
A large number of Youth Congress activists, led by Raja Amrinder Singh Brar, national president of Indian Youth Congress and Dr Umashankar Pandey, national secretary incharge Jammu and Kashmir will hold protests through this rally against the government?s failure in addressing the issues related to the youths, he said.
The protest rally will expose the double standards of BJP and PDP and how they are exploiting the sentiments of people in the state, he said.
