JAMMU: Hosts district Jammu, Rajouri, Udhampur and Kathua won their respective matches to move into the next round of the ongoing boys’ under-17 football tournament of Jammu Division organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Khel Gaon, near here on Friday.
Jammu boys made it a 4-2 win against district Kishtwar. Ruder, Aman, Azim and Anwar were the scorers from Jammu whilde Abram and Saifullah reduced the margin from Kishtwar.
In other scheduled match of the day, district Rajouri defeated Reasi 5-1. Mohib struck thrice while Shrish Sharma and Saifan Asgar were other scorers.
The technical panel in today’s matches comprised Tarun Paul, Varinder Singh, Rakesh Singh, Varinder Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Davinder Singh, Arun and convenor Ajay Sharma.
Other Results: District Udhampur beat Doda 2-0; district Kathua beat district Samba 4-0.
