POONCH: To reach out to everyone who is affected by natural disaster and provide relief to them, Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom Poonch has sent first consignment to Rajouri on Sunday.
Accompanied by Hazrat Maulana Gh Qadir, volunteers held relief camp and Manjakote and distributed relief material contains blankets, tents beside eatable commodities to the affectees.
Jamia has a plan of conducting four relief camps in Rajouri and also one for those who have lost their relatives in the bus accident at Lam. Jamia is going to give Rs 5,000 to each of the next of those who have lost their lives.
The next three camps will be organised at Thannamandi, Bhudhal and Rajouri city. Maulana said, “We are committed to reach out to everyone affected by this catastrophe.” Maulana also reiterated that their second consignment for Valley will be dispatched within next two days.
