Jagjit Kumar took over as new IGP Traffic

JAMMU: Jagjit Kumar assumed the charge as Inspector General of Police, Traffic J&K relinquishing Shafqat Ali Watali from the additional charge.
Soon after assuming his office, Jagjit Kumar visited different sections of Traffic Headquarters (THQ) and held a meeting with officers of THQ to discuss measures for streamlining the traffic management in the State. Later, IGP had a round of Jammu City to take a review of city Traffic.
Kumar has earlier served the State in different capacities including SP Ganderbal, Traffic, Vigilance, CI Kashmir and Poonch, DIG Udhampur Range, Traffic Kashmir and Security J&K.
