JAMMU: Jaanbaaz Khalsa Gatka Academy, which has achieved remarkable credentials in providing training in Sikh martial arts to youth of the community, opened its Head Office here at Miran Sahib on Saturday.
Special prayers were offered to the Almighty by the members of the academy to serve the purpose of preparing youth with traditional martial arts and also inspire them to follow the path shown by Sikh Gurus. Speaking on the occasion, members said that efforts shall also be made to impart awareness on the ill effects of intoxication especially drugs and alcohol, which is prevalent these days.
Ajab Singh, Sutanter Singh, Jasbir Singh (Shanty), Surinder Singh (Pardhan), Jagjeet Singh, Narinder Singh, Kartar Singh, Advocate Prabjot Singh, Balwinder Singh, Jagwinder Singh, Lakhmir Singh, Surjeet Singh and other Members of Academy were also present.
