J-K players shine in International Karate Championship

JAMMU: The students of Indo-Oman Shotukan Karate-Do Association of India shined in Sixth International Championship-2014 organised by World Sports Tangsoodo Federation of India at Jhang Bawan Sainik Vihar, Rani Bagh, Delhi.
The students of Jammu and Kashmir participated under the supervision of Ravinder Sing Jamwal, IVth Dan Black Belt and brought laurel for the State by winning medals.
Parvinder Singh won gold, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Simran Koul and Gopal Krishan got silver and Saif Ali, Ram Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Priya Jamwal, Vikram Singh Jamwal and Shalini Bandral bagged bronze medal. In addition to above, Vishwa Pratap Singh and Rajat Bandral also participated in the championship.
