J-K Coordination Committee celebrates 67th Accession Anniversary, releases Panthers song

JAMMU: A rally was held under the auspices of Coordination Committee of J and K leaders and intellectuals on Monday at Press Club, here.
The rally was chaired by Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron NPP and Member of NIC. The meeting was addressed by Kashmiri Pandit Migrant leader Dr. Jitender Bakshi, Harsh Dev Singh MLA Chairman JKNPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA President JKNPP, Yashpal Kundal MLA General Secretary, P.K Ganju Vice-President, Anita Thakur General Secretary among others.
A unanimous resolution was adopted by the participants hailing from different groups and schools of thoughts including Young Panthers, NPSU, Women Power, PTU, PKU, JSSM and others.
The resolution adopted was “We the people of Jammu and Kashmir comprising 84,000 sq. miles from Leh to Gilgit and Lakhanpur to Muzaffrabad join the celebration of the State Accession with the Union of India and on 67th Anniversary of its Accession with the Union of India. We call on United Nation to persuade Pakistan to vacate all occupied territories comprising 32500 sq. miles including Gilgit and Baltistan and withdraw civilian settlers there from. We reiterate of commitment to be integral part of India the largest democracy in the world committed to uphold the dignity of the composite culture, secularism and democracy irrespective of our religious beliefs, political ideologies, race or creed.”
Later, reminiscing the pristine glory of the Great Dogras National Panthers Party (NPP) also launched a mesmerizing Panther theme song in the Hindi version titled ‘Panther Ki Dahar”(Roar of Panther) on the historic occasion of 67thAccession Day of J and K State with the Union of India in the benign presence of the Chief Patron NPP Bhim Singh, Chairman and MLA Harsh Dev Singh and State President NPP and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia and the cadre of all rank and file at Press Club Jammu.
The song has been written by Gagan Pratap Singh, Spokesman Young Panthers and Arya Vir Singh whereas the music of the song has been composed by Bhupinder Singh and sung by Sumit Bhardwaj and Mahima Chaudhary.
Gagan Pratap while addressing the media disclosed that the song is an ode to the Great Dogras and a musical manifesto to propagate the agenda of the party before the masses.
It shall also awaken the people of Jammu Pradesh to regain their diminishing identity and get rid of the regional bias and discrimination meted out to them since independence by electing right, appropriate, honest and clean representatives in the forth coming elections.
He added that the similar theme song shall also be released in the Dogri version very shortly.
