JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Bodylifting team brought laurels to the State by winning runners-up trophy in the North India Senior Bodylifting Championship held at Tara’s Fitness Centre, Jalandher on 9th November, 2014.
Sandeep Kumar and Jagroop Singh got silver medal whereas Zahoor Ahmed, Rahul Kohli, Sumit Chib and Puran Singh got bronze medals in their respective weight categories.
Rakesh Kumar and Nimesh Srivastava accompanied the team as a Coach and Manager.
President of the Association, Showkat Hussain Kazmi lauded the efforts made by the association in producing national and international level players.
He said that youth should adopt healthy life style for building the nation. Honorary General Secretary of the Association, Amit Dutta said that association will make all possible efforts to bring out the hidden talent of J and K.
