No one from BJP came to the rescue of Amarjit Singh who was thrashed by PDP leaders on hoisting Tricolour at PDP office in Jammu on Saturday. However, on Monday ‘under pressure’ local BJP leaders led by J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina hoisted Tricolour outside PDP office at Gandhi Nagar to take credit and to cover up the ‘humiliation’ they faced for not supporting social activist Amarjit Singh on Saturday-when he was thrashed and abused by PDP workers including former MLC Firdous Tak and Parvez Choudhary.
It is pertinent to mention that PDP office is in government accommodation at Gandhi Nagar.

Amid chants of “Tiranga ka apmaan nahi sahenge (will not tolerate the insult of tricolour)” and anti-PDP sloganeering, social activist Amandeep Singh on Saturday had attempted to hoist the national flag on the PDP office headquarters.
As the question is what is wrong in hoisting Tricolour on a Govt property? The BJP leaders kept on sleeping and no one came to the rescue of Amarjit Singh while he was being thrashed.
Now the worst part is that after two days of the incident when J&K BJP felt that they are being trolled and Jammuites are using abusive language against BJP leaders on social media, suddenly on Monday BJP wake up.
Besides, Raina, the former Dy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, MP Jugal Kishore reached PDP headquarter to hoist Tricolor on Monday morning just cover up the trolls. Where all these senior BJP leaders were sleeping earlier? Why didn’t BJP support the incident the same day? Why didn’t BJP come out earlier to show his nationalism and love for Tricolour? Why now after trolls BJP just to befool Jammu people come out and hoisted Tricolour ? Why no action against PDP leaders who objected hoisting Tricolour on government property? These are the queries from the social media after Raina along with other BJP leaders hoisted flag at PDP office in Jammu today. The BJP has no answer to this.
A full contingent of police was deployed on Monday morning as senior most J&K BJP leaders were attending the flag hoisting to befool the Jammu people.
