Dear Editor,
The Kohinoor diamond is a treasure of India and must be brought back at any cost. It is a symbol of our honour, prestige and history.
The fact is that the British squandered the wealth of all the nations that they colonised. The argument that the diamond was given to cover the expenses of the Anglo-Sikh wars is unacceptable. In fact, the British need to apologise for many of the historical atrocities done to us and the problems we face today.
