JAMMU: BSF School, Jammu, organised an investiture ceremony to create spirit of leadership among students.
Billal Ahmed and Roopsi were appointed Head Boy and the Head Girls respectively while Shrrayan Sheel Goel and Tarun Gorkha appointed the Deputy Head Boys and Poorvi Bhau and Neha Kotwal as Deputy Head Girls. Taibaa of Gandhi House, Akash Vishkarma of Raman House, Rahul Jasrotia of Nehru House and Kashish Abrol of Tagore House pledged to work sincerely as the captains of their respective houses.
Principal BSF School, Dr S.S Khokhar administered oath to the Prefectorial Board and felicitated the leadership quality of the students by pinning them badges.
He asked the prefectorial board to set an example of discipline and duty which the rest of the students can follow. He inspired them to be loving and caring towards the juniors and respectful towards the seniors.
The ceremony was attended by all the staff members and the students of the school. A pledge to preserve discipline, decorum, respect towards the values of the institution and its motto “Darkness towards the light” was beaming on the faces of the student’s council.
