Interstate Youth Exchange Programme held

KATHUA: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India is organising Interstate Youth Exchange programme at Chennai from  November 6 to 19, 2017, in which youth hailing from various states and district shall participate.

A contingent of 10 Youth six male and four females from NYK Kathua left on Friday to take part in Interstate Youth Exchange Programme under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat Scheme’ of Govt. of India.

Vijay Kumar from Baggan, Amar Singh Mandali, Parveen Kumar from Sheetal Nagar, Abishake from Nagri, Devinder Singh and Mohinder Singh from Duggan, Nisha Devi from Kathua, Gita Devi from Gokal Chack, Alisha Devi from Bakhata, Madhu Bala from Dhar Mahanpur are members of contingent.

These youth shall be peace ambassador of J and K and shall  participate in various youth exchange programme, visit in youth organisation, sea beaches, interact with local youth, exchange culture , traditions, express views on various social and economical development issues, discuss flagship and developmental programmes of govt. of India etc.

These youth will extend invitation to the youth of Chennai to participate in Youth Exchange Programme to be organised in J and K in ending of November.

Som Datt Zard, District Youth Coordinator sent of the team from NYK office and extended best wishes, active participation and life time experience.
