RAJOURI:
Girls under-19 team of International School Rajouri won the District Kho-Kho Championship, organised by Kho Kho Association District Rajouri, at Mini Stadium Sports Complex, here.
International School’s girls defeated Government Middle School Rajouri in the finals. The winning team has also qualified for the J and K State level Kho Kho competition to be held in February, next year.
Director of the School, Abhishek Langer congratulated the winners and appreciated their skills and hard work and also acknowledged the coaches, Harpreet Singh and Chand Rani.
Kho Kho team of the school comprised of Tehmeena Chowdhary, Sanjali Sharma, Sabha Rashid, Sabia Kouser, Nazreen Akhtar, Shazia Anjum, Saiba Kouser, Nahima Riaz, Samreen Kouser, Nazma Ferdouse and Fiza Lone who displayed their effective skills with best of runs, chases, pole dives and attacks.
