JAMMU: A workshop on ‘Effective Teachers Learning’ was organised for Primary teachers of the school. The workshop was headed by Dr. Chand Trehan, Counsellor of the School. The focus of the workshop was on need for emotional intelligence and connectivity with the children. The session was enhanced with plays, worksheets and energizers to involve the teachers to connect better with the students.
Dr. Trehan said that a person should not be self-centered and negative. One must never try to change the nature of others but make changes in itself. The Johari window test model a way to enlarge the field of open communication, to cultivate trust and ultimately to improve the relationships with one another was also conducted to make the group more interactive and enlightened.
All the teachers learn easy ways to handle different situations while interacting with the children.
