KATHUA: district Level Inter-Zonal Tournament for under-14 and under-17 (Boys) of district Kathua in the disciplines Kabbadi, Kho-kho and volleyball began at Sports Stadium, here on Tuesday.
About 558 students from various institutions of 12 Zones of district Kathua are participating in the tournament.
The tournament is being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Kathua, Sunil Kumar.
The tournament was declared open by Chief Guest, Janak Singh Andotra, Principal, Government College for Women Kathua.
The Chief Guest congratulated the Organising Committee for organizing such tournaments for exploring the hidden talent of students.
Activity Incharge, Kuldeep Singh among others officials was also present.
