KATHUA: On the third consecutive day of inter-school district level athletic meet around 561 boys of U-14 and 17 yrs from 82 schools including 12 private schools took part in various events.

BOYS under-14: Shot Put: Saif Ali, MS Dhanna 1st, Haneef Ali, MS Chack Drab Khan 2nd and Deepak Lalotra MS Sallan 3rd. Discus: Lalit Sharma HS Kadyala 1st, Aman Singh, MS Ladoli 2nd and Rahul Kumar, HS Khanpur 3rd. Javallion: Rahul Kumar, HS Khanpur 1st, Daleep Singh, MS Bagial 2nd and Shiv Kumar, MS Chack Deas Singh 3rd. Long Jump: Vipan Kumar , MS Kootah 1st, Maskin Ali, MMS Hiranagar 2nd and Vijay Kumar, MS Parole 3rd. High Jump: Vicky Verma, MS Marheen 1st, Kanav Kumar, HSS Mara Patti 2nd and Anu Rag Verma, HS Khanpur 3rd.
Under-17: Shot Put: Gourav Jasrotia, KPS Barnoti 1st, Mujaffar Iqbal, HS Parngoli 2nd and Ajay Verma, HS Guran Mundian 3rd. Discus: Harish Sharma, HS Kadyala 1st, Sayyam Dogra, Sacred Heart Phinter 2nd and Anil Sharma, HS Hottar 3rd. Javelin: Romal Singh, HS Tridwan 1st, Sher Ali, HSS Keerian 2nd and Rahul Sharma, HS Parngoli 3rd. Long Jump: Surmu Din, HSS Marheen 1st, Manjeet Singh, HS Dinga Amb 2nd and Shivam Sharma, Shishu Model Academy Nagri Parole 3rd. The competition, being held under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar, DYSSO Kathua, was officiated by Sukh Ram, Pankaj Spolia, Nidhi Sharma, Rani Andotra, Parveen Singh, Joginder Kumar, Rakesh Devi, Kajol Devi, Mohan Lal Dub.
