JAMMU: The Inter-Mural BSF School Judo Championship got underway in BSF Gym at Paloura Headquarters, here on Wednesday.
Five-day championship commenced on 3rd November and will conclude on 7th November.
On this occasion, Head Master, Gaytri Kotwal was the Chief Guest while Coordinator, Shashi Bala was Guest of Honour.
Results: In open category: Asvina Bhat 1st, Kushboo 2nd and Mitali Jaye 3rd. 18 kg: Utkarshi Kesar 1t, Ridhima 2nd and Harshita Thakur and Varidhi 3rd. 20 kg: Lakshmi 1st, Akshita 2nd and Stuti Sharma and Samishta Thakur 3rd. 25 kg: Sachina 1st, Anjali Sharma 2nd and Meenakshi Devi and Anjali Sharma 3rd. 30 kg: Kavya Shree 1st, Komal 2nd and Harshita Sharma and Simran Pandita 3rd. 35 kg: Sakshi 1st, Sneha 2nd and Sukriti and Chahat Deep Kour 3rd. 40 kg: Palak Sharma 1st, Kritika Bhat 2nd and Bhawana Hans and Rishika 3rd.
The matches were officiated by Suraj Bhan Singh, Chief Judo Coach, Sports Council, Rameshwar Singh, Rajinder Singh, Avtar Singh and Ranjodh Singh.
