JAMMU: The Inter Collegiate Tournaments in men & women Section 2024-25 in various sports events started in the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, Jammu University Ground, here on Monday
BASKETBALL: Introduction of the teams was done by Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Among other present on the occasion were Dr. Mandeep Singh, Dr. Vimal Kishore, Jai Bharat, Vikas Karlopia, Sh. Raj Kumar Bakshi, P.D Singh, Ravish Vaid, Inderjeet Singh in Basket Ball matches.
Results: ASCOMS beat MIET by 04 points; BDC Udhampur beat GCET Jammu by 27 points; GDC Udhampur beat Dogra Degree College by 27 points; GDC Khatua beat GDC Kilhotran by 26 points.
TABLE-TENNIS: Inter Collegiate Table-Tennis (Women) Tournament 2024-25 played at Table-Tennis Hall, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu met with all the participants and encourage them to play with true spirit.
Result: GDC Poonch beat GDC Billawar by 3-0; GDC Ramban beat Dogra Degree College by 3-0; GCET Jammu beat GDC Jindrah By 3-1; GDC Hiranagar beat GDC Basohli by 3-1; GMC Doda beat GDC Rajouri by 3-0; ASCOMS beat GMC Khatua by 3-1. Matches of the women section shall be played tomorrow. Matches were officiated by Ravish Vaid and Sahil Malgotra.
KABBADI (Men); Kabbadi Men Tournament 2024-25 played at Gymnasium Hall, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.

Among other present were Dr. Mandeep Singh, Dr. Vimal Kishore, Vinay Manhas, Dr. Vikesh Sharma, Ajaz Malik, Mukesh Sharma, Rakesh Minia, Sonu Mehra, Zakir Hussian, Aliaz, Balbir Chib, Jai Bharat, Vikas Karlopia, Raj Kumar Bakshi, P.D Singh, Ravish Vaid, Gagan Kumar, Inderjeet Singh, Harinderpal Singh, Manjeet Kotwal, Richa Mandla and Vandana Sharma.
Results: MIET beat BDC Udhampur by 08 points; GDC Akhnoor beat GDC Khilotran by 13 points; GDC Doda beat GDC Chenani by 10 points; GDC Reasi beat GNC Doda by 20 points; GCET beat GDC Poonch by 18 points; GDC Hiranagar beat MBS College by 20 points.
Matches were officiated by Anil Sharma, Ajay Chopra, Dheeraj Sharma, Keshav Singh, Harpreet Singh, Amandeep Singh and Gagan Kumar.
VOLLEYBALL (Men): Inter Collegiate VolleyBall (M) Tournament 2024-25 played at Volleyball Court , Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.

Results: MIET Jammu beat BDS College by 2-0 (25-13, 25-12); GDC Kunjwani beat GDC Reasi by 2-0 (25-07, 25-08); GDC Khilotron beat GDC Sidhra by 2-0 (25-13, 25-22); GDC Doda beat GCET by 2-0 (25-21, 25-13).
Matches were officiated by Amit Sharma, Shubham Sharma, Manu Singh Pawar and Vikas Karlopia.
