Infusing enthusiasm among students of rural areas
After taking voluntary retirement from service in 2004, Dr Ranjit Singh Phulia has been working in more than 700 government and private schools in rural areas, especially in Haryana and neighboring six states — Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. He has done work of teaching and guiding the students. D Ranjit also guides the students on English Grammar, English Speaking, various aspects of communication arts, General Knowledge, History, Geography, and the Political System of India, so that the students can also be prepared for the upcoming competitive exams.
As such an expert and selflessly serving teacher, his free services are infusing the students of rural areas with a new zeal and enthusiasm. Born in 1958, at village of Atawala, district Panipat, Haryana, Dr Ranjit Singh Phulia is an educationist, writer, and social worker. You studied mainly in government schools.
His father’s name was Sant Ram and mother’s name Mrs. Bharti Devi. Both of them had deep faith in the sublime form of Indian culture and human values and they gave the same best values to their children. His family was influenced by the ideology of Arya Samaj and by following the teachings of great men like Saint-Shiromani Satguru Ravidas, Sadhguru Kabir, etc., was away from superstition and hypocrisy. Child Ranjit was intelligent since childhood and was very interested in studies.
He passed the middle examination from the government school of the village and passed the matriculation examination in the first division and stood first in the high school of the neighboring village Adiana. Even while studying and graduating from Arya College, Panipat, he stood first or second in the entire Karnal district and were also honored many times.
For further MA studies, his elder brother went to Dr Raj Roop Phulia in New Delhi. MA from the University of Delhi While studying, he passed the competitive examination and got a job as a traffic assistant in Indian Airlines in 1980, where Late. He was a colleague of Rajiv Gandhi (the then-pilot, who later became the Prime Minister of India).
His eldest brother Anoop Singh was serving in the Indian Air Force. Elder brother Dr Ranjit Roop Phulia passed the competitive examination conducted by UPSC in 1980 and became Indian Economic Service, IRPS in 1981 and then an IAS officer in 1983 and retired as Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana. Ranjit passed the competitive examination in 1982, was appointed first class officer in National Insurance Company, and worked in important positions like Senior Branch Manager, and Senior Divisional Manager.
Taking voluntary retirement from service in the year 2004, after serving twenty-two years, he worked in more than 700 government jobs in rural areas, especially in Haryana and neighboring six states — Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh and has done the work of teaching and guiding the students of private schools. Dr Ranjit also guides the students on English Grammar, English Speaking, various aspects of communication arts, General Knowledge, History, Geography, and the Political System of India, so that the students can also be prepared for the upcoming competitive exams. Dr Ranjit holds Diploma in Translation (Gold Medalist) from the University of Delhi and a Diploma in Journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan.
In 2015, from Kurukshetra University on Senior Secondary Education Administration in Haryana in Public Administration. He is co-editor of the English international magazine ‘The World Renewal’ and more than one hundred articles, interviews, poems, etc. written by him have been published in prestigious journals. Six books have been published after being translated/edited by him. To increase the knowledge of the students in various subjects, Dr. Ranjit has prepared many test papers which after assessing the intelligence of the students, they are distributed in the form of educational books, dictionaries, books on grammar and general knowledge, etc.
He has been honored more than ten thousand students in more than 700 schools and other educational institutions like industrial training institutes, colleges, and schools (government and private) in Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. All these voluntary and free efforts provide unprecedented zeal and enthusiasm to the students of rural areas. He also gives free guidance to the students in many libraries opened in the rural areas of Haryana. Due to His voluntary and free services in the field of education, you have been honored by many schools and other educational institutions, such as -‘Fifty Villagers Service Institute and Kalam Ashram, Barmer, Turning Point, Outstanding Teacher Award in 2021 by Taranagar, Navodaya Kranti and Manthan (voluntary group of both government teachers) and Progressive Teachers Trust, Narnaul.
He has also been honored by many schools and educational institutions. Dr Ranjit Singh Phulia is known as an ideal teacher of students and a true guide of teachers. He teaches the English language in a very simple way and thousands of students are also learning spoken English from him. He has also shared the videos of all those students on social media, from whom students from all over India are taking inspiration. As such an expert and selflessly serving teacher, his free services are infusing the students of rural areas with new enthusiasm and spirit.
