JAMMU: Celebrating International Women Day 2023 with the theme of “Info Her Story Awards” 2023 Season 3, INFOBUG on Thursday felicitated 20 women and girls from different walks of life, who have contributed to society in different ways.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while former Minister Priya Sethi and Joint Director Tourism Sunaina Mehta were the Guests of Honour.
While felicitating the women and girls, who have contributed to society in different ways, Div Com said that the growth of not only a family but the entire world depends on the growth of women.
He added that women are the creator of earth and nature and this day should be celebrated as an empowerment day for the entire world.
The event was organized by Amar Chouhan, Managing Director INFOBUG, First Female & First Infotainment social media portal and her Team members Hemani Bassan, Tanvi Balgotra and Ruhi Sharma.
The women and girls who were felicitated on the occasion include Krishna Kumari (Dogri Folk Singer), DySP Sunniya Wani (1st Woman KPS who got Best Cadet Award), Dr. Chanchal Bhasin (Dogri Writer), Ritu (Senior Prosecuting Officer), Sandhya Dhar (Disability Rights Activist), Dr. Surbhi Kudyar (1st Breast Oncologist Breast Surgeon), Dr. Palki Sharma (Dermatologist & Cosmetologist), Malu Kerni ( Senior Journalist), Dr. Roopali Slathia (1st Woman Cricket Coach), Madhavi Sharma (Radio Announcer AIR), Kashish Gupta (CEO TALLA Jewellers), Nusrat Malik (MD ZNS NIST), Dr. Neha Shivgotra (1st Female Astrologer), Parul Bhateja (MD Bhavishya Academy), Gurmeet Batra Jamwal (Renowned Theatre Artists), Jasmine Kour Khosla (1st Tarrot Reader), Nidhi Sharma (Founder Mukti Society NGO), Aakriti Daluja Abrol (Director MV International School), Pooja Kapoor (President Trader Association) and Priyanka Mahajan (Entrepreneur).
