Indian Skippers lose second tie to Australia

JAMMU: After suffering loss in the hands of Japan, India on Monday lost to Australia in their second outing in the ongoing AVC Cup for Men at Nakhon Pathom in Thailand .
Likewise yesterday, the young Indian team lost to Australia today in straight sets of 17-25, 20-25, 12-25, reports reaching here informed.
Dushyant Singh and Sachine Dagar performed well in their quick attack and block. Tanish Choudhary and Harshit Giri were good in back court attack and in block.
“The Volleyball Federation of India has fielded quite young team in the AVC Cup with the sole aim to prepare the lot for the 2024 Olympics,” Manager of the Indian team, Kuldeep Magotra was quoted as saying.
