Indian men’s team stuns formidable Japan in Asian U-20 Volleyball Championship

JAMMU: Indian men’s volleyball team shocked former champions Japan 3-1 in their opening match of the 21st Asian Men’s U-20 Volleyball Championship at Riffa, Bahrain on Tuesday.
As per report reaching here, India recovered from an early reversal to notch up a 19-25 25-19 25-21 25-23 win over formidable Japan. Captain of the Indian team Dushyant Singh, Aman Kumar, Sameer Chaudhary and Sachin Dagar played an exceptional game and contributed to today’s spectacular performance against a tough team like Japan. India will meet Iran tomorrow at 4:30 PM and the tournament will continue till August 29.
