11 Sep 2022 Indian Army in its efforts to empower the youth with vocational skills, has been training them in collaboration with National Skill Development Council (NSDC). The present training, conducted over a period of two and half months skilled the youth in the fields of welding and plumbing. The classes benefitted youth from local areas around Dhargloon and Sabra, who were put through a structured curriculum of basic and advanced techniques in the two fields. On culmination, the trainees were awarded course certificates, which would assist them in seeking employment and becoming financially independent. The audience present during the closing ceremony appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army and resolved to encourage more youth to join such initiatives in the future.
