India Khelo Football: India’s biggest grassroots football trials held in Jammu

JAMMU: India Khelo Football in association with Pegasus Sports Academy conducted IKF Trials in Jammu in which near about 100 players participated in Under 15 and Under 17 category.
India Khelo Football is a people-led movement in which football players and football enthusiasts from all over India have come together and formed India Khelo Football to develop football at the grass-root level.
India Khelo Football partnered with Pegasus Sports Academy to organize these trials in Valley.
The initiative was promoted by the Batra Group as well, in a thorough manner so that all the players who wish to pursue football professionally gets a fair platform. The trial started in the evening at 4.30 PM. The 11 a side trial took place in Parade Ground.
IKF Scout Nelson were able to find extremely talented players from the trial. The results for the trial will be announced within 10 days post digital analysis. Players and parents were really excited as such trial is happening for the first time in Jammu.
“It’s a great initiative by IKF for the development of grassroot football and to hunt the talented players at city level.”, says one of the parents. “Me and my team enjoyed playing India Khelo Football trial and I feel that it’s a great opportunity for anyone who wants to become professional footballer,” said Bhisham Batra, Director, Batra Group and Owner, Pegasus Sports Academy.
