‘India heading steadily under strong leadership’

JAMMU: After a long time the country has a strong leadership which has displayed real concern for the development, welfare and took India at respectable position at international level. PM Narendra Modi has taken a number of initiatives for the economic and social upliftment of women, welfare of farmers, youth, ex-servicemen, and launched innovative schemes aimed at providing employment opportunities. In Jammu and Kashmir State, the BJP was in power for ten months and at the insistence of our party and ministers, various path breaking decisions were taken and corruption was nowhere, work culture was introduced and in reality it was good governance.
This was stated by BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) while addressing a gathering in Barnai area of Raipur Domana constituency during Vikas Sushasan Sankalp Rally. He was accompanied by Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, Ex-Minister Bali Bhagat and other leaders.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the party activists should take it as their duty to reach the masses in their respective areas and educate the people about projects related to rail linking, recruitment of border youth in IRP battalions and Fasal Bima Yojana besides tough action against anti-national elements.
Bali Bhagat said that BJP formed government in the State for the first time and it was a golden period in the history of Jammu and Kashmir as corruption was rooted out, massive developmental activities were initiated, welfare schemes for women in particular were launched, thousands of Kanals of forest land got retrieved from illegal encroachers, transfer industry was abolished and total transparency and accountability was restored in the governance. He asked the party activists to serve as a bridge between the people and the organisation to get their support in forthcoming elections of ULBs and Panchayats.
State Vice President Karan Singh, State Secretary Vikram Randhawa, District President Omi Khajuria and Mandal Presidents also spoke on the occasion.
