JAMMU: Exuding confidence in winning the Lok Sabha polls, JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla on Wednesday asserted that the INDIA bloc will form the next government with the support of more than 350 MPs.
In an impressive programme of thanks giving to his voters and supporters at Gadigarh, Bhalla said that he sees no scope for the BJP’s return.
“We are confident that the BJP will fail to form the next government. The Congress-led INDIA bloc will secure a comfortable victory. The way people from different corners of the country are joining hands with the INDIA bloc, I see no scope for the BJP’s return and Narendra Modi can’t become the PM for the third consecutive term,” Bhalla said.
The thanks giving programme was organized by S.Gurmeet Singh Block President Satwari.

Reacting to PM Modi’s call for 400 seats, the Congress leader said, “The BJP could sense very well that they are nowhere close to the target they have set for themselves. So far, as per our calculations, we are forming the government with the support of more than 350 MPs in total.”
He said that Congress will bring about change for the betterment of youth, farmer, women and workers as guaranteed in the congress Nyay Pattar. Bhalla said, Congress makes programmes for ameliorating the lot of the people by providing basic amenities of life to all of them. Education, Healthcare, Provision of Modern Infrastructure, uninterrupted Power Supply, Provision of safe and pure drinking water, Job creation for the unemployed, Empowerment of the Women and Welfare Schemes for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Handicapped persons and all the socially neglected sections of the society are on top most agenda of the Congress party. Bhalla appealed to the electorates of Rajouri Poonch to cast their valuable votes in favour of Alliance candidate which guarantees restoration of statehood, security of land and jobs, employment for locals, enhancing the salary of Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, regularization of daily wagers, need based , adhoc, contractual employees and ameliorating all sorts problems of the people of the state including smart meters issue , water tariff etc.
Bhalla reiterated that Congress regards every citizen of the state as equal irrespective of religion, caste, creed, sex and the Congress party believes in giving best quality of life to all of them in fixed time schedule.
All the policies of the Congress party like better housing facility, pollution free environment, decongestion of the existing cities, development of model cities, development of villages, enhancing the facilities of trade and industry etc. are geared towards this end.
