Incorporate 7th Pay Commission in coming budget

JAMMU: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) asked State Government to revoke the termination order of employees, who have been deprived to plead their just cause before the authorities and have been victimised without giving them chance to be heard. In the meeting held here on Tuesday, State President EJAC and Chairman JKTF, Abdul Qayoom Wani asked the government to incorporate Seventh Pay Commission in coming State Budget and also sanction interim relief of 20 per cent in favour of government and public sector employees till Seventh Pay Commission be implemented in toto besides regularisation of all daily rated employees, casual, seasonal and need bases worker as per the agreement.
Wani said that the poor daily rated workers and causal labourers are suffering for the last 15 years and have become victims of politics.
Wani said that the regularisation of temporary employees is a human issue and needs to be solved by human heart as early as possible without playing politics on it and revoke termination order of innocent employees immediately. Wani said that if government failed to regularise the services of daily wagers, revocation of terminated employees, incorporation of Seventh Pay Commission in coming budget, releasing interim relief in favour of State employees and public sector units then the employees will have no option but to hit the streets once again.
Wani also condemned the School Education Department for unnecessarily harassing ReT teachers in the name of so called exam drama. Wani also said that EJAC will fully support the protest programme of ReT Teachers Forum scheduled to be held on 15th December at Press Club, Jammu under the leadership of Vinod Sharma against exam drama by authorities of Education Department. Among those who were present in the meeting include Ganesh Khajuria, Jagdish Sharma, Paramjeet Singh, Pir Nisar Ahmad, N.S Jamwal, Vinod Sharma, Rajinder Gupta, Sukh Dev Singh, Yograj Singh, Darshan Sharma, Bashir Ahmad Thokar and Mohammad Iqbal.
