Include college teachers in J&K PSC: RCTA
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: J and K Retired College Teachers Association (RCTA) objected over the non-inclusion of college teaching cadre in the reconstituted J and K Public Service Commission.
President J and K RCTA, Dr Vijay Kumar Sharma expressed his dismay in dropping of two college professors from the new panel of members, who would now constitute the PSC.
“The establishment has time and again overlooked the services rendered by the college teaching community and caliber and the potential of college teachers has been ignored consistently. College teachers, whether serving or retired, do not lag behind in sincerity, efficiency, honesty and integrity and are certainly a step ahead in their moral and social obligations,” he added.
Vice President, Dr Mohd. Zaman Chaudhary and General Secretary, Dr Satesh Bhan demanded that inclusion of college teachers in the J and K PSC should be reconsidered by the State Government.
