IMS conducts induction session for BBA, BCA courses

JAMMU: The induction programme for BBA and BCA courses was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Vidhi S. Jamwal, Chairman-cum-Managing Trustee of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), here on Tuesday.
The programme was attended by Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman and Renu Bangroo, Managing Director JGEI.
Prof. J.R Dhotra, Director, Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), while welcoming the students and their parents, highlighted the academic achievements of IMS right from 1993 to till date.
He emphasised that IMS offers a conducive learning environment which allows students to develop their creativity, work ethics and leadership skills that are essential for their future success.
Prof. Shiv Kumar Gupta, in his address, spoke about the relevance of pursuing the undergraduate courses in Business Administration and Computer Applications which are very much sought after in the corporate sector.
He further gave details of the organisational structure of JGEI and various institutions being run under its aegis.
Renu Bangroo emphasised that IMS provides the best of academic and physical structural development in the form of highly qualified faculty, well equipped library with internet facility and wi-fi campus.
Concluding the induction programme, Vidhi Singh spoke on being the pioneer for establishment of management and Computer Institutes in the State of Jammu and Kashmir imparting education in MBA, BBA and MCA, BCA courses.
He reminded the students in particular and parents in general that IMS would facilitate them to understand core aspects of learning and the process of personality development, being the essential characteristics of successful executives in the corporate sector.
