JAMMU: President, J and K Mazdoor Kissan Union (MKU), G.R Malhotra demanded proper distribution of government ration in depots without any malpractice.
Talking to media persons here on Monday, Malhotra asked government to order ration dealers for displaying rate list of all ration items at depots, mentioning a prescribed scale of ration both BPL and APL and opening and availability of ration depots at least 20 days per month.
Mazdoor Union to lodge a protest against the concerned department if it fail to meet the genuine demands, he warned.
General Secretary, Sant Ram, Hans Raj Choudhary, Neelam Devi, Prem, Bhagwan Dass, Vijay Mehra, Kasturi Lal Malhotra, Rakesh Kumar, Teja Singh and Sreshta Devi were also present in the press conference.
