JAMMU: President, National Mazdoor Conference (NMC), Subash Shastri urged Prime Minister to call a conclave of the chief ministers of all the states to discuss the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission recommendations simultaneously and uniformly.
Shastri also emphasized the need to notify the announcement of the minimum wages of daily rated workers to Rs 10,000 per month immediately for all states so that working class could get sigh of relief.
He sought total exemption of dearness allowance for the ambit income tax. The income tax exemption limit should be raised to Rs five lakh, he said.
