Implement PM’s Package
Dear Editor,
Employment package for Kashmiri migrants has been in doldrums from the last 10 years. The State Government always speaks in high volumes as far as this employment package for migrants is concerned but the ground reality is altogether totally different. The package which was announced long back ago in the year 2008 is still pending which in itself shows the discrimination done by the State Government towards this part of community. Dual politics and biased nature of the present Coalition Government are the main reasons behind the total failure of this package. The Central Government has already given its green signal for the implementation and execution of this employment package but the State Government is making mockery by continuously delaying its implementation. It is worthwhile to mention here that the Central Government has already given its full assistance and also the required funds for the execution of this package but it’s really excruciating that the State Government always keeps mum in this perspective. It’s really a matter of grave concern for the unemployed youths of KP community who are willing to work in the Kashmir Valley. The government needs to introspect in this issue on a very positive note and should also direct the J and K Service Selection Board to advertise the remaining 3000 supernumerary posts reserved for Kashmiri Pandits as soon as possible and at the same time must also start speedy execution of the recruitment process so that the career of thousands of unemployed migrant youths could be saved.
