IMO hails court verdict on former DG ISM

JAMMU: Indigenous Medicines Organisation (IMO) hailed the High Court order for reinstating the then DG ISM, Dr Abdul Kabir Dar.
In the meeting held here on Thursday under the chairmanship of President IMO, Dr. K.K Gandotra, said that some vested interest people tried to create a hoax among the people that ISM drugs are spurious and tried to malign the image of ISM Department and especially the then DG ISM.
“IMO have already shown doubt of some conspiracy behind this whole episode and the High Court order vindicate the charges levelled by these vested interest people and agency,” he added.
Dr. Mahesh Sharma, General Secretary appealed to the government in future not to take the such steps against any government employee without verifying the facts on the charges levelled by vested interest people and hoped that none of the official belonging to any cadre/department of J and K Government be subjected to such illogical mental torture, harassment and defamation without following due procedure as J and K Classification, Control and Appeal rules 1956 which in case of Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar was not followed and government has acted as whimsical manner.
The association will always standby justice of any employee of the Department and patients and also for the development and propagation of the ISM Department and will ensure that no stone is left unturned in achieving aims and objectives of the association in the larger interest of the public.
Among those who attended the meet include Dr. V.K Sharma, Dr. Pawan Pandita, Dr. Sudarshan, Dr. Saveeta, Dr Sjam Dutt and Dr Virender Mahajan.
