JAMMU: GD Goenka Public School on Wednesday organised an Inter-House Ikebana competition for Classes VI-XI. Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement.
The participants arranged vibrant, colourful and fragrant flowers in different aesthetic ways. From varied themes of ‘Unity in Diversity’ to save nature to brotherhood, the children exhibited their talent.
First position was bagged by Vivekananda House followed by Teresa, Radhakrishnan and Tagore.
The Principal, Dr. R.P Singh was extremely impressed and congratulated the efforts of all the students.
